Experience your own space adventure by exploring the exciting past, present and future of America’s space program at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Built in 1967 as  a means for NASA Astronaut’s and employees’ families to view space center operations, today the Visitor Complex is one of the Central Florida’s most popular tourist destinations. Included are the Apollo/ Saturn V Center, the Rocket Garden, Astronaut Memorial, IMAX Theater and a Shuttle Launch Experience.

See over 75 years of aviation excellence in person in Vero Beach for a guided tour of Piper’s manufacturing facility and experience how William T. Piper’s dream became a reality and how his vision lives on today. Participants will enjoy lunch at Piper and have time to visit the Piper Gift Shop.

Tour Participant Rules & Regulations:

  • No photography of any kind is permitted on Piper Property
  • Close toe and heel shoes with a heel less than 1.5 inches is required. Guests not meeting the dress code for shoes may not enter the manufacturing area. 
  • Company policy prohibits bringing the following into the factory:
    • Weapons of any kind
    • Video recording devices
    • Animals
    • Tobacco (Piper is a smoke free facility)
    • Backpacks

 

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, what we do – and do best – is teach the science, practice, and business of the world of aviation and aerospace. Since it was founded just 22 years after the Wright brother’s first flight, the University and its graduates have built an enviable record of achievement in every aspect of aviation and aerospace. We will tour the ERAU flight line and visit Engineering, Flight Simulator and Meteorology laboratories all on campus and enjoy lunch in the Student Center.
