If you're headed to Quad-A's 2014 Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit in Nashville, Tennesee, May 4-6, be sure to stop by booth 3402 to meet WAI staff and find out what's new with your organization! Then head out and take advantage of all of the fantastic opportunities the event provides.

The Army Aviation Association of America's annual convention will be at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel this year, and will feature several great speakers, the annual awards presentations, a hall of fame inductions banquet, and a soldier appreciation dinner concert featuring Trisha Yearwood.

The Helicopter Association International (HAI) will host the HAI Aviation Career Development Seminar: Insight on the Commercial Helicopter Industry on May 5. The seminar will focus on steps pilots and technicians on active or reserve duty can begin to take now to prepare for their eventual transition to the civilian market. It will be led by Stacy Sheard, WAI 39936, a test pilot for Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., and 11-year active-duty U.S. Army helicopter pilot; and HAI Deputy Director of Flight Operations Brian Haggerty.

HAI will also host the HAI Industry Job fair May 5-6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at which representatives from helicopter operators spanning all sectors of the civilian market will be available to discuss opportunities with pilots and technicians and meet with qualified candidates.
