Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA) has announced more than $110,000 in scholarships to be awarded during the annual NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida at an awards ceremony on October 22, 2014.

"This marks the first time in WCA's 21-year history that we've surpassed $100,000 in scholarships, and we're extremely grateful to our corporate sponsors," said WCA President Brenda Miles.

The Partnership for Corporate Aviation Training (PCAT) is working with the National Flight Academy to provide four scholarships for students ages 11-17 years old. Applications are being accepted until May 31, 2014.

The annual weekend air show features re-enactors and action flights of World War II-era warbirds including the Me-262, Lancaster Bomber, and the world's only flying de Havilland Mosquito.
