MAM-HeaderLogo-1.pngIf you'll be in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area May 16-18, be sure to check out the Military Aviation Museum's Warbirds Over the Beach event! The annual weekend air show features re-enactors and action flights of World War II-era warbirds including the Me-262, Lancaster Bomber, and the world's only flying de Havilland Mosquito. There will also be vehicle, armor, and artillery displays, plenty of food, and big band musical entertainment.

Something else to look forward to - the Military Aviation Museum will again host its Flying Proms this year. Scheduled for June 7, the event is an English tradition showcasing the beauty of vintage aircraft flying overhead maneuvers accompanied by live music performed by the Symphony Orchestra of Virginia Beach. Share this early evening concert with family and friends on the grounds of the Military Aviation Museum—bring your folding beach chairs and enjoy the good food and a fine bottle of wine.

More details on both events can be found at www.VBairshow.com.
