The Partnership for Corporate Aviation Training (PCAT) is working with the National Flight Academy to provide four scholarships for students ages 11-17 years old. Applications are being accepted until May 31, 2014.

Scholarship recipients will participate in the six-day Ambition Program aboard a virtual aircraft carrier named Ambition. Each mission the students participate in will test mental agility, preparedness, and communication skills, while demonstrating the importance of teamwork and goal completion. Through consistent simulator experience and role play, participants will have an opportunity to see firsthand how those in Naval aviation respond to and avert emergencies in real life.

"This program takes all the aspects of what most people think aviators do and consolidates into a super fun-filled and exciting week," said John Fitch, PCAT board member. "These kids are learning all sorts of aviation and life skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives and PCAT is proud to be offering scholarships for this adventure."

The scholarships must be used for a 6-day program during the 2014 or 2015 schedule. PCAT will cover the flight academy program (including lodging, activities, and meals), and air travel to Pensacola, Florida.
