Creators of a planned TV mini-series to feature the stories of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) have launched a crowdfunding campaign to begin pre-production on the project.

The ten part mini-series being developed by The Red Door Films will cover the origins of the WASP, as well as the African-American women who were not allowed to fly for the WASP and were instead sent to the Tuskegee Airbase. The script is based on memoirs from Pauline Gower and Byrd Granger, and interviews with other women and men who wrote this incredible chapter in our history.
