A veteran of three space shuttle flights, Dr. Rhea Seddon will speak to the energetic young audience during Girls in Aviation Day Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center on March 12.

Rhea was one of the first six women to enter the astronaut program. After leaving NASA in 1997, she became the assistant chief medical officer of the Vanderbilt Medical Group in Nashville where she led an innovative program to improve patient safety, quality of care, and team effectiveness by the use of an aviation-based model of CRM.

WAI member and 2010 WAI Pioneer Hall of Fame inductee Suzanna Darcy-Henneman will speak during the WAI Regional Conference at the Boeing Museum of Flight on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

The regional conference will be held September 16-17, 2016, and includes a Friday evening reception at the Seattle Airport Marriott, admission to the Seattle Museum of Flight, and local aviation tours.
