Will your chapter be hosting a Girls in Aviation Day event on September 24, 2016? Be sure to let Outreach Director Molly Martin know right away so we can include your event information on WAI.org. Email mmartin@wai.org today with your Girls in Aviation Day contact person’s information, and a brief, high level description of your event, as well as a link to any website, Facebook page, or e-vite pages for your event, if you have them.

Chapters are encouraged to reach out to their local and state governments and request Girls in Aviation Day proclamations as well. Last year we had 29 U.S. states and several cities proclaim the day, and this year we’re shooting for more! Many states require that a resident make the request—Molly will send information on how your chapter can make the request to chapter leaders soon.
