The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2016 Wesley L. McDonald Distinguished Statesman of Aviation Award: Dr. Peggy Chabrian, Randall Greene, Preston Henne, and Clay Lacy. The Distinguished Statesman of Aviation Award was established in 1954 by the Board of Directors of the NAA. The award honors “… outstanding Americans who, by their efforts over an extended period of years, have made contributions of significant value to aeronautics and have reflected credit upon America and themselves.”

Kelly Murphy, WAI 2397, has joined the WAI staff as Director of Communications and Editor-in-Chief of Aviation for Women magazine. Kelly has spent decades in the aviation industry from learning to fly at age 16; writing and editing a number of various aviation publications; to running an international woman-owned aviation public relations and marketing services company called Emerald Media.
