An excursion to Nikumaroro Island sponsored by Betchart Expeditions is set to take place June 21-July 11, 2017, marking the 80th anniversary of Amelia Earhart's disappearance. The trip will continue research on Nikumaroro carried out in 2015. Organizers are also offering a unique opportunity for public participation.
